Digital handheld recording
For interviews involving no more than two or three individuals we recommend digital handheld recording. We hire small digital audio recorders to clients who require a good digital recording, but not a full four-track or conference setup.
The recorders are about the size of a small digital camera. They have a built-in multi-directional microphone and are mounted on a small stand. The recorders can be placed unobtrusively on a table between interview participants.
Our clients often operate the handheld recorders themselves, and then upload the digital files to our secure server for transcription.
For larger interviews or tribunals, we provide a proprietary four-track recording setup or a full conference microphone system.
